The following list occupations will help you decide what sort of work is right for you. Assume that you have the necessary qualifications and training and can do the work. Take pairs of occupations and decide which one you would prefer. Make a note of why you have chosen it. Continue for as many pairs as you wish. When you have finished examine the reasons you have given to discover what is important for you in choosing work.
When you make your choice, try to choose the positive reason why you prefer one occupation to another. This will give you more useful information than focusing on rejecting the one you don't like. Choose fairly quickly, it is OK to have several criteria of choice, so don't force yourself to be consistent.
